Graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Jayson Oliveria (born 1973) was twice nominated for the Ateneo Art Awards. Oliveria received residency grants at Big Sky Mind Artists Project Foundation in Manila and Art Space Tetra in Fukuoka, Japan. He is also a recipient of the CCP Thirteen Artists Award and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, China and Germany. Oliveria lives and works in Manila.
