An artist/curator known for his installations, Pastrana (born 1978) was a co-founder of the now defunct seminal independent art space Future Prospects. He was the Philippine representative to the 2008 Busan Biennale in South Korea. A recipient of the CCP Thirteen Artists Award, he also received residency grants at the Kyoto Aeroport in Kyoto and at Art Space Tetra, Fukuoka, Japan. He has been represented in major exhibitions in the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore. Pastrana lives and works in Manila.
