A multi-disciplinary artist, designer and art director, Velasco (born 1958) graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. His work inhabits spaces where it covers the fields of photography, graphics and sculpture. He co-curated Green Papaya Art Projects program at the No Soul for Sale Festival of Independents at the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern in London in 2010. He has been represented in major exhibitions in the Philippines, Ireland, Singapore and the USA. Velasco currently lives and works in Waterford, Ireland.
