Sydney-based artist Rochelle Haley graduated from UNSW College of Fine Arts Sydney with BA (Hons) of Fine Arts (2004) and PhD Fine Arts (2009). From 2004 to date, Haley had presented 6 solo exhibitions, numerous collaborations and group exhibitions in various venues and art spaces in Australia, Malaysia, China, Turkey, Pakistan, France, Portugal, and Germany. Central to Haley’s work is the exploration of the relationship between the human subject and their physical and social environment. Rochelle Haley was the recipient of Tim Olsen Drawing Prize (2004), and artist-in-residence in Rimbun Dahan (2009), PAF St Erme France and Cite Internationale des Arts (2010), and Artspace Sydney (2010-2011). Her works are in the collection of Hijjas Kasturi Associates; NSW Attorney Generals Department, Justice Precinct Building, Parramatta Principle Advisory Services, Sydney; Gadens Lawyers Sydney; and in several private collections.
