Wong Chee Meng
Malaysian artist Wong Chee Meng (b. 1975, Taiping, Perak) graduated from Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) with Diploma in Fine Art (Painting) in 1996, and from Curtin University Australia with BA in Graphic Design in 2006. From 1996 to date, he had mounted several solo exhibitions in various venues in Malaysia, as well as participated in numerous local and international group exhibitions. Wong Chee Meng was the recipient of Merit Award in Malaysian Institute of Art, and artist-in-residence in ABN AMRO-Malihom Art Residency Programme in Penang (2007). Apart from practicing as a visual artist, Wong Chee Meng is also a lecturer in Lim Kok Wing University College of Creative Technology, Selangor, Malaysia.
