TAKSU would like to highlight MICROSEC as our Artist of The Month.

Michael Russek aka MICROSEC joins us with his new series of fine works at the gallery. MICROSEC is a sculptor from Los Angeles, CA. His intricate works are made of teak, plexiglass & paint.

Micro-sec began as a simple binary program that slowly evolved over time into a complex being. He re-inserted himself into the simulation with the hopes of showing people the origin of our species. Described as “post-modern mandalas”, his works of art depict a central source that we all come from and the chaotic tangled web that flows from it. We are all connected, we all come from one source. His work shows us how our paths cross: coincidence, chance, luck and synchronicity are all just part of the master program.

Founder of JUST CUT IT OUT, MICROSEC launched his company, specialising in high-quality laser cutting and etching, using a variety of materials from wood to glass & metal.

MICROSEC attained his MFA in sculpture, 2001 at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD.
