TAKSU KL, 1 – 20 November 2012

TAKSU Kuala Lumpur is honored to present No Talking Points, an exhibition by seven artists from the Philippines. Bound together by their common artistic compulsion to create works that transcend the “insoluble tension between verbal and visual discourse”, Bernardo Pacquing, Cris Villanueva Jr., Elaine Navas, Hubert San Juan, Juan Alcazaren, Lyle Buencamino and Nilo Ilarde work individually in the “silences” between the perfunctory negotiations between the artists, condition makers and the audience. Together, they celebrate the spell of nothingness between ideas as part of the process, and obsess over the physical distance of empty space between artworks in their exhibits.

No Talking Points features works by: Bernardo Pacquing, Cris Villanueva, Elaine Navas, Hubert San Juan, Juan Alcazaren, Lyle Buencamino, Nilo Ilarde & Pete Jimenez.

Exhibition runs from 1 – 20 November 2012.

Opening reception on Thursday, 1 November, 7.30 – 10.30pm.
